Sarthak Bal Sikai
The new programs consisted of RBPOP Phase IV projects. In both these cases, the local community has invited Rato Bangala to work with them and improve teaching and learning. These projects are named “Sarthak Bal Sikai” and will be held in two districts, namely Gorkha and Tehrathum.
Sarthak Bal Sikai in Gorkha was initiated on 28 October with an orientation program for the Chairperson and vice Chairperson of Bhimsen Thapa Gaon Palika and 9 ward chairs. Participants also included Principals and School Management Committee heads of 36 partnering schools. The orientation took place on 28 October 2021
Sarthak Bal Sikai in Aathrai Tehrathum is a partnership whose main objective is to provide training to early childhood teachers to improve classroom practices as well as the physical environment. The early childhood classrooms will be run in all the 9 highschools in Aathrai Gaonpalika. The orientation for this partnership was held on 5-7 December 2021at Sankrati Terhathum.
